HTF50 Heat Transfer Fluid – 5L Concentrated Heat Transfer Fluid to be used via a dilution chart

Frost protection from -4°C to -50°C. Mono Ethylene Glycol Version. Concentrated Heat Transfer Fluid Suitable for use in all Heating Systems

HTF50 is a blend of Glycol, Inhibitor and Biocide which Protects against corrosion, limescale & bacteria and of course frost
Compatible with all metals found in heating systems including aluminium based
pH stable. Added Biocide which prevents bacteria growth and essential for any low temperature systems

Application and Dosage:

Dilute before use with mains water
In order to ensure adequate corrosion and biocidal protection, the recommended minimum “in use” concentration of the product is 25%.
We add enough biocide to ensure any system is protected when the system contains 25% or more HTF50
If lower than the recommended minimum we advise using some extra Trade Chemicals Biocide (E700) to ensure adequate protection for the system

HTF50 will provide frost protection if diluted correctly as per dilution chart

10% by system volume for protection at -4°C
20% by system volume for protection at -9°C
30% by system volume for protection at -14°C
40% by system volume for protection at -22°C
50% by system volume for protection at -34°C
75% by system volume for protection at -48°C
80% by system volume for protection at -50°C
